Judith Ramírez Casas
Technical Architect and Master's Degree in Architecture Technology, specialized in restoration and rehabilitation at the UPC.
PhD student at the UPC with the thesis: "Natural cement in Catalonia, nineteenth and early twentieth centuries".
Professor of construction materials of petri origin (binders, conglomerates, etc.) and head of the Materials Lab at the EPSEB.
Research focused and specialized in the field of materials, especially traditional materials (cements and lime basically), their manufacture, uses, properties and characterization. The studies of these materials are directed at the diagnosis and intervention of the existing heritage, in restoration and rehabilitation.
She is also Head of the Technical Architecture section of the Department of Architectural Technology at the UPC.
