In memory of José Manuel Gómez Soberón

It is with deep sadness that we say goodbye to our colleague José Manuel Gómez Soberón, researcher, professor and member of the GICITED group.

Throughout his professional career, José Manuel dedicated his work to the advancement of more sustainable construction, making important contributions in areas such as concrete with recycled aggregates and waste recovery. He was an associate professor at the UPC since 2002, linked to the Barcelona School of Building Construction, and his commitment to research and training leaves a mark, both at an academic level and on the people who had the opportunity to work and learn with him.
